In March 2022, the website of the Project “Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Asia” (CALOHEA) was officially launched. The Project is within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. CALOHEA is coordinated by the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, with the collaboration of the ASEAN University Network (AUN), and is joined by universities of 8 South East Asian universities (in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam).
The main objective of the project is to contribute in the internationalization of South East Asian higher education institutions (HEIs) by developing of a series of actions through 3 Recognition Mechanisms (RMs). These RMs are expected to be one of the key factors in renovating higher education in South East Asia because not only do they affect the mutual recognition of training programs or promote the students – staff mobility within ASEAN, but also aim towards the mutual recognition and the mobility between Europe and ASEAN.
The CALOHEA Project was kicked-off since March 2021 and was affected rather significantly by the Covid-19 pandemic, so the activities have been organized online. Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) is a member of the Civil Engineering subject area group (CE SAG). HUCE team has been participated actively, and contributed effectively in all project activities.
HUCE Project team participates in the General Meeting on 15/12/2021, under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Pham Xuan Anh - Vice-Rector of HUCE
